You got questions, we got answers!

Q. Do you offer financing?

Yes we do! We work with the fantastic people over at Great Escape Finance. They specialise in finance options for tiny homes. Whatever kind of financing you might need, they can help you with.

If you’re considering financing, especially land AND house, we strongly recommend you have a chat to them before making any decisions, as their advice will be invaluable in helping you navigate the unfortunately complex world of finance and tiny homes in Australia.

Q. I’m not sure what the council requirements are for tiny homes in my area, can you tell me?

We’re all aware of how complex it is to get simple answers when it comes to tiny homes in Queensland. Every council has different requirements, and discovering those requirements can be tough! So we recommend Council Approval Group. They’ll get you the best answers, whatever your situation is.

We do NOT receive any commission for referring our customers to Council Approval Group. We simply recognise the value they offer and want our customers to get the best care possible.

Q. Can I see a display home?

At this time we don’t have any display models available. What we do provide is full 3D renders of your new home with the colour schemes and design choices you’ve made. We also have physical samples of the materials and design boards to help you visualise your new home.

As Snug Life Tiny Homes continues to grow, we will build display homes. For now, our focus is on providing you an exceptional home at a great price and being able to invest in providing homes for Aussies in need, and part of that is keeping our initial overheads as low as possible.

Q. Are your homes compliant with Australia’s bushfire requirements and wind ratings?

Our homes meet all of the NCC’s (National Construction Code) bushfire standards. For wind ratings, our buildings are designed primarily with Region B in mind as a way to balance costs on the average home we construct.

However, the building system we use is capable of meeting Region C and D requirements, though there are additional costs associated with that due to a change in certain materials.

Each building comes with a structural Form 15 which includes the wind ratings it covers.

Q. Do you provide transportation and installation your buildings?

As a general rule, no, not at this time. Our focus is on producing the best possible home for you at the best possible price and time frame. For us to also offer installation dramatically slows down our turnaround and increases costs exponentially due to increased staffing, overheads, etc.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and if it becomes feasible to offer transportation and installations, we’d love to incorporate that!

We are happy to recommend transportation companies though! All our buildings can be transported on a standard tilt tray truck and either slid off the back at location, or craned off depending on where it’s being set.
